With the sailing season starting production of the Flo1 is in full swing.
The latest building techniques are used to build a light, safe and durable boat. Clean and controlled resin infusion techniques and pre-impregnated materials are used to create the Flo1. In the resin infusion process glass fibre is used with carbon fibre in key, highly loaded, areas. The result of this trade-off is an efficient, strong and stiff boat.
3D printing is used to create flexibility in the production process and to reduce the amount of waste as much as possible. With composite–3Dprint hybrids Aeronamics strives for a production process that is as sustainable as possible.
Material off cuts are used in smaller parts or are being upcycled in other projects and products.
